Boise, camping and of course cats

While the cats were resting in the air conditioned house I was camping in the Sawtooth mountains, northeast of Boise.

Here's a view of the Sawtooth mountains from outside our campsite.

There was a snowmelt creek running by our campsite. With mountains in the background.

Like Lewis and Clark, Ethan and I rafted the river. Then we decided that was too much work, so we tied our raft to shore and floated.

Marc and Ethan the intrepid wilderness men.

They even made a fire from primitive tools.

As you can see we eventually started a fire.

The primitive tools might not have worked, but it only took one match. Mr. Watson would be proud.
