Family Picture Night

We decided to have a family photo night. Here's a picture of Aspen and I relaxing before the big shoot.

Then Aspen helped Sara with a little exfoliation.
He's making sure she knows exactly how to hold her head so that the photog gets her best side.

It worked!

Now Millie and I are rehearsing our posses. She calls this one "cat preparing for flight."

Here's the hard won family photo:

Thanksgiving Pictures

Sam digs in to the first turkey leg. He's not a vegetarian.
Joe is showing off with the big Thanksgiving spread. He made the mandarin orange salad.

I'm hanging with Joe's dog Porter. He thinks he's a lap dog. At least I think he's a lap dog. He's not much for being picked up.

Millie polished off a box of Big Sky beer for Thanksgiving. She mostly wanted to keep the box. For sitting.

Monday Night Football

Finally, Monday Night Football photos from a few days ago - enjoy!

First, the Monday Night Football crew on ESPN including Stuart Scott, Steve Young and Emmitt Smith (look behind my head in the first photo):

The Broncos coming onto the field:We have Jason Elam here - the best kicker ever - scoring yet another field goal for the Broncos.

Scott cheering madly with his orange gear on:
The bronco on top of the stadium:
Scott with the flames of fire that were belted out every time the Broncos scored: Me, giggling with delight over being at MNF (at the end of the game, hence all the empty seats):

What else? Cute catness

Enjoy this montage of cat cuteness. Apparently there has been a lot of snuggling up with cats lately. What more could you ask for?

Weekend Cat Photos

By popular demand, we bring you Aspen & Millie...

They were quite helpful this weekend with various housework type things. Here's Millie helping with the ironing:
Aspen is dedicated to checking the comfort of the blankets and the couch for us:
Millie is making sure that my baby shower gift for our friend having twin girls was full ofinteresting toys (perhaps not surprisingly, the cats found the toys quite intriguing...):
Millie rolling around on the clean sheets I had just put on the bed. She's also in attack mode since she just noticied some birds outside the window at the birdfeeder (note her open mouth and quivering tail):

And finally, another one of my favorite subjects - Scott! He's stretching post-run by one of the last trees with changing leaves outside our door. Even though Scott is battling a cold/allergies, it was 70 and sunny today - nice running weather for November.

A slightly early happy birthday to Jeanette! Jnet, I hope you happen to read this tomorrow (Monday) since the humans and felines alike here in Boulder will be sending happy birthday thoughts your way!
