Scott is a genius

In case you weren't fully aware of how great Scott is, here's another chance to remind you. The Economics Department has awarded Scott with the GRADUATE AWARD FOR PUBLIC POLICY RESEARCH. It was established by anonymous donors to provide fellowships for graduate students enrolled in the Department of Economics, doing research in the area of economics as it relates to public policy issues, including but not limited to public finance, environment, health, transportation, educations, industrial organization, and international trade. The faculty nominated and voted, proving just how impressive Scott and his research are.

In a nutshell, Scott is getting recognized for his awesomeness. He'll officially be awarded the prize at the econ department's graduation ceremony next Thursday. I'm imagining that he'll take away a huge trophy stuffed with cash. Think of all the cat condos that could buy! Kidding, don't worry. We'll buy a giant salmon treat instead. Again, kidding. Sorry Aspen.

And in other news, a hearty congrats to Kylie for landing a great job with a new law firm - Holladays everywhere are dominating.

And a final note of well wishes to mom and Aunt Sue for the happiest of birthdays today! Love you guys!
